South Dakota Soil Health Coalition board member and 2024 Legacy Award Winner Dennis Hoyle will host the Reducing Salinity with Cover Crops Field Tour on July 31, 4-7 p.m., at his farm near Roscoe.
This event will feature cover crop, saline soil, and BioChar plot tours, and supper will be included.
The tour will be held east of Roscoe on the southeast corner of the intersection of 349th Ave. and Hwy 12. The plots are between the railroad tracks and Hwy 12 on the east side of 349th Ave.
Participation is free for current South Dakota Soil Health Coalition members. There is a fee for non-members (fee includes 2023 SDSHC membership).
