Hosmer Fire and Rescue Poker Run raises funds for equipment

Poker players in Hosmer wait for the Poker Run to hit the road Saturday afternoon.
The Hosmer Volunteer Fire and Rescue hosted a successful Poker Run and Burger Fry on Saturday, July 29.
They had 182 entries this year. Adjustments were made, thanks to all the players for their patience.
Poker Run winners were Gary Blocker, first with a 3-Q/2-J Full House; Carol Eisenbeisz, second with a Full House (3-9's/2-7's); and John Meuwissen, third with a Full House (3-8's/2-J's). Becky Malsam had the worst hand.
Steve Smith was the winner of the golf cart. Shirley Preszler won the Blackstone and Mike Mohr won the gun safe.
