IHS marching band earns honors at marching festival

The Ipswich Tigers Marching Band performed in the Aberdeen Roncalli Marching Festival on Sept. 27 in Aberdeen.
The Ipswich band was named the third place group. They were also named the Best Percussion section.
Aberdeen Roncalli Marching Cavaliers was the winner of the Festival, followed by Gregory, second; Hoven, fourth; and Warner, fifth.
The IHS Tigers Marching Band can be seen marching in the Gala Day parade here Friday afternoon. But they will not be marching in the Gypsy Day parade Saturday.
The marching band will perform in Groton on Oct. 13 and at the SDSU Hobo Day parade in Broo...
