Venture funds go to schools

Venture Communications paid gross receipts tax for the year 2022 to schools in the area where Venture serves.

Taxes are paid annually in August to the South Dakota Department of Revenue. The state then disburses the taxes to state-funded school districts based on the revenue generated by Venture Communications customers in each school district.

Edmunds Central school received $15,489.
