The Roscoe American Legion Smoker on Saturday October 21 showcased the renovations with the new bar on the north end that has been done.
Burgers and onions started rolling out of the kitchen at about 5:30 p.m. Then at 7 p.m. games of chance as well as the bake sale and raffle tickets began.
The raffle winners of the four coolers filled with meat were Kenny Geier, Michelle Meuwissen, Rodney Grismer, and Andi Hopf; The winner of the Browning BPS 12 Gauge was Peter Eisenbeisz.
The proceeds of the event will be used to support the Legion and Auxiliary with their programs to help Veterans and further renovations of the kitchen and carpet.
The annual event continues to be a success because of the community members who step up to help.
