The Edmunds County Commission approved a resolution to have a special election for issuing general obligation bonds for building a law enforcement center.
The resolution states a new jail, dispatch center and sheriff’s office is vital to the safety and welfare of Edmunds County residents.
A special election will be held on March 12, 2024 for the purpose of issuing general obligation bonds in the amount to not exceed $7,400,000.00 for the construction of the new jail, dispatch center and sheriff’s office....
