Ipswich librarian Cindy Percy is inviting local readers to come on in to the Ipswich Library and make yourself comfortable.
She has rearranged some of the sections, hoping to make the library more user-friendly. She has set up a children’s area and plans to have furniture to make it comfortable for users. She would welcome donations of items for children.
The hours have been changed. The library is open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays. Hours are unchanged on Wednesday and Friday — 2 to 6 p.m.
Cindy has invited library customers to stop in for a hot drink, enjoy the comfy chairs and work on a puzzle. “Make yourself at home,” she said.
Cindy said she would like to add Book Club meetings and game nights if there is interest. She would like to get public comments. Feel free to contact by Facebook or at the library at 605-426-6707.
