Joseph and Judy Uhrich of Custer are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Hallie Uhrich, to Michael Borglum, son of Kellen and Karen Borglum of Bricelyn, Minn.

Hallie and Michael met in late 2017 in Mankato, Minn. where they both went to college. Hallie graduated with a degree in Anthropology from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2018 and is currently the assistant director at the North Mankato Taylor Library. She is also pursuing an online Masters of Library and Information Science through the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Michael graduated from South Central College in 2015 with a diploma in Computer Integrated Machining. He currently works at Johnson Outdoors as a senior model maker.

The couple is planning a September 28, 2024, wedding near Fairmont, Minn. 

Hallie is the granddaughter of Grandmothers Lorraine Uhrich, Roscoe and Verna Oban, Loyalton, and her Grandfathers Marvin Uhrich and Vernon Oban in heaven.
