Puzzle fun in the Roscoe Legion Post.

Roscoe American Legion Auxiliary hosted a "Purple Up Day for Military Kids" event on April 14 in the Roscoe Legion.

Part of the afternoon of festivities was a Puzzle Contest. There were two divisions - 500 pieces and 300 pieces.

The first place teams won $100 and the second place teams won $75. Camby's Pass donated the prize funds, as well as providing the puzzles.

500 Piece Competition winners:

• First place: Piecin' It Together in 41 minutes 12 seconds. Team members were: Emma Beyers, Claire Beyers, Sandra Beyers and Kathy Goetz.

• Second place: Gettin' Jiggy in 41 minutes 19 seconds. Team members were: Spencer Dunlavy, Ellen Renner, Estelle Meyers and Natasha Meyers.

300 Piece Competition winners:

• First Place: 4 Piece Puzzle in 22 minutes 49 seconds. Team members were: Kelsey Lehr, Kelsey Sowards, Sophia Kroll and Eden Weiland.


• Second Place: Jigsaw Junkies in 23 minutes and 32 seconds. Team members were Joell Bieber, Natalie Bieber, Joann Bieber and Melissa Hedglin.

Five puzzles were door prizes. The winners were: Sarah Wesch, Natalie Bieber, Taylor McElhone, Izzy McQuarie and Lily Gaub.

The Auxiliary also had a Pie and Ice Cream Social. The activities were fundraisers for the Roscoe American Legion and Auxiliary.
