Fiddlin' Around

January 30, 2019

That was certainly a dry snow over the weekend. The moisture content wasn't quite what you would want to build a snowman with, but on the other hand the drifts were dry and hard so they were nearly ideal for snow bricks for snow forts and they even had dirt mixed in to re-enforce them even further.

But you might not want to stay outside very long, building snow forts or snowmen until it gets a little warmer. And the weekend weather sounds like it could bring warmer temperatures to this region of the country.

In the meantime, stay warm inside and make yourself a big pot of chili, because it's certainly chili weather. Pun intended! We got to sample a lot of chili at Edmunds Central last Friday, where the Student Council was hosting chili cook-off competitions in two different categories, adults and students. And there were also some knoephla soup recipes to sample, as well!
