Fiddlin' Around

February 27, 2019

It's nearly March and you all remember the old saying about March, if it comes in like a lion, it will go out like a lamb.

We can all hope that is true this year in particular. Because March looks like it could be coming in rather chilly and blustery to say the least. I won't even mention the S word or the W M words or even the F R words, just being this cold is bad enough. OK, I will mention them — snow, wintry mix and freezing rain.

It might be a while before you trade your snow blower for a lawn mower, but that grass might be doing surprisingly well underneath all that snow.

Congratulations to Ipswich's Carter Heinz for placing eighth at the State B wrestling tourney and to Edmunds Central's Elliot Beyers for scoring over 1,000 career basketball points and finally to all the area teams that are still alive in the post-season high school basketball ranks.
