The Tiger Post had their appreciation picnic and open house Monday evening, Aug. 3.
A donation had been made in honor of Louis and Helen Thares before the facility was built. The Tiger Post is housed in the Louis and Helen Thares Youth Center. Louis and Helen were present, as were other family members including their children Jim Thares, Susan Thares and Cheryl Knudson.
The public was able to view the new Tiger Post and parents were able to register their children for the new school year.
