Fiddlin' Around

October 28, 2020

The winter is slowly retreating and since climate changes occur on a daily basis, the weather goes from one extreme to the other.

So don’t be too surprised if you can get your mower out of cold storage and take care of those leaves that haven’t been raked or in some cases waiting for a good northwest wind to dislodge them from your trees.

And it’s a good thing we didn’t have all that big of a wind during the snow events last week.

Speaking of snow, how about that football win in the Tiger stadium, otherwise known as the Snow Bowl. You guys did a great job of moving the snow from the field itself. Good luck in Warner on Thursday!

And also congratulations to the Ipswich cross country contingent for braving the nasty weather to place third in the girls team standings and eighth in the boys. (Alec Maier of North Central also ran in that event and placed in the upper half of the runners.)

There are still a few volleyball games this week that will help determine the ultimate pairings in next week’s 2B showdown.

So good luck to NC and IHS in that and don’t forget to vote!
