Fiddlin' Around

March 31, 2021

What about that South Dakota wind earlier this week? It was surreal, good thing there wasn't any snow flakes in the air. But instead there was dust. The last measurable moisture in Ipswich only amounted to :03, not 3 or even .3 inches. That is how dry it has gotten!

But this is Easter week and also April Fools Day on April 1, Good Friday and then eventually Easter Day on Sunday. So Happy Easter everybody. We should mention that Palm Sunday's noon dinner was free, served to us by the Ipswich UCC and that was delicious, so thank some of their congregation members next time you see them.

Don't be fooled on April Fools. Maybe the weatherman will fool us all with some April showers. You know the old saying that April showers bring May flowers. We hope that will be the case this year.

The old saying about March also came true. March came in like a lamb and is truly leaving like a lion.

Well, how have your NCAA bracket sheets holding up? Mine, not so good. You could always tear them up and fill out a brand new one. They say that hind sight is better than fore site! As long as your not a real avid fan, the upsets and last possession outcomes have been fun to watch!
