Ipswich graduate earns medical degree from WVSOM

Micheala Taylor, D.O.
Micheala Taylor, D.O., graduated from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree on May 29, 2021.
While at WVSOM, Dr. Taylor was a West Virginia Area Health Education Center Rural Health Scholar. She received the RAMS Head Award for her work as a graduate teaching assistant in the osteopathic medical education department.
Taylor earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Presentation College in Aberdeen, in 2016. She is a 2012 graduate of Ipswich High School in Ipswich.
Taylor is the daughter of Chris and Stephanie Prater of Hays, Kan. She is married to Adam Taylor.
She plans to enter a family medicine residency at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.
