WHY DO WE HAVE POPPY DAY?

First, because of the great amount of good which is accomplished by giving the disabled veterans the chance to make them. What could be better than helping a man to keep his self-respect by earning a little money in this way?

Second, the money derived from the sale of poppies is the greatest means of revenue by which the rehabilitation and child welfare programs are carried on. Poppy day is the one day the public is privileged to contribute toward this worth cause.

Third, always in our hearts is a feeling of reveren...
