Ipswich avenged a girls' high school basketball loss to North Central earlier this year with a 44-41 victory on January 18 in Roscoe.

What happened was that the score was tied at 40 late in the game and Katie Bierman would then assist Kaylin Onken for a layup and a tenuous 42-40 IHS lead. But the hosts would then go to the free throw line and made their first attempt, but missed the second. And Ipswich was then able to send Bierman to the charity stripe and she made 'em both.
