Matt Leonard purchased Gramm Funeral Home in January 2022.
The name has been changed to Leonard-Gramm Funeral Home.
Leonard has been working with Mark Gramm in Ipswich since January 2020. The Leonards moved to Ipswich in 2021.
Matt said he learned alot working with Mark.
Matt, an Aberdeen native, is a fourth generation funeral director. He graduated from Aberdeen Central and then Mortuary Science School in Denver, Colo. in 2007.
He worked with Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home in Aberdeen.
Matt and his wife Elise have four children - third grader Blake, 8; first grader Barrett, 7; Bridger, 3 and Piper, 2.
Elise is involved with the funeral home when possible. "We complement each other," he said.
Matt said he likes the Ipswich community and is becoming familiar with area communities.
