Ipswich placed third in a high school volleyball invitational tourney at Mobridge last Saturday. The IHS Tigers won their opener over Stanley County, but lost a semi-final decision to the hosts. That sent the IHS netters into the third-place match won by Ipswich 2-1 over Herreid/Selby Area.

Their first match win over Stanley County was a straight-sets 25-18, 25-15 affair.

Gracie Lange was 15-15 in serving with five aces. Madison Geditz was next at 6-6,2. Altogether Ipswich landed 44 accurate serves that included 10 aces.
