Ipswich attended a cross country invite at Webster last Tuesday that was run under Class A team scoring criteria. That required a minimum of four runners, not just three like in Class B hosted meets.

But the Tigers were able to obtain some impressive results in their various divisions.

For instance Xavier Kadlec placed eighth in the boys' 5K in 19:04.35 that was won by Deuel's Ricky Berndt in 17:33.77. And Turner Thorson was ninth in 19:19.47. Dylan Wald finished 25th in 20:24.20. There was a total of 59 entrants and Frederick Area placed first as a team with 31 points.
