Warner won a 63-30 Lake Region Conference girls varsity basketball decision over Ipswich last Thursday in the Tiger Den.

The visiting team established a 13-8 first-quarter lead after opening the contest with 11 unanswered points. That's right, Gabby Wald would finally put the home team on the scoreboard with four straight two-point baskets which temporarily drew the Tigers to within three points at 11 to eight.

But the Monarchs would never trail, leading 31-18 at intermission and 46-26 with a quarter to play.
