It seems that lately when it rains it pours as the old weather adage says! So we will hope it won't rain on anybody's parades next week especially any events that are included in homecomings. And I guess we should mention any area upcoming sports events that still remain to be played in addition to parades. We certainly don't want any more showers or worse yet thunderstorms then.

You area football guys are probably still drying out from the previous weekend weather systems. I got a first hand look at the NSU stadium in game conditions. Leola-Frederick eked out a 16-12 victory over Ipswich. So the Tigers will need to regroup for a trip to Britton. Ipswich will then be busy next week during its homecoming and there is even a LRC cross country meet scheduled for October 4 at the Ipswich athletic complex I believe. So save your candy from the parades. It will come in handy on Halloween which is just around the corner.
