This is homecoming week for Ipswich. This year's theme is "Traveling with the Tigers."

Coronation will be Thursday, Oct. 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the School Theatre. Royalty candidates are seniors Hannah Beyers, Karlie Gohl, Evelyn Tran, Hailey Usselman, Trevor Heinz, Xavier Kadlec, Chet Peterson and Kadyn Weisser.

The burning of the "I" will follow the coronation program.

The Gala Day parade is Friday, Oct. 6 at 1 p.m. Contact Shana Gohl at the school to sign up to have an entry.

The Gala Day parade route will remain the same as last year. The parade entries line up on First Avenue by Holy Cross Church. The route will begin at First Avenue and Fifth Street, down Alma Avenue, turning on Main Street heading north, turning again on Fourth Avenue. Elementary students will leave the parade by the Parmley House. The remaining parade entries will leave the parade behind Active Care Chiropractic.

The IHS Tigers will take on the Dupree Tigers at 7 p.m. in the football game. A Post Prom Tailgate supper is planned from 5 to 7 p.m. in the 4-H Building.
