Phase one of the Roscoe Legion Renovation project has been completed with the completion of new flooring behind the bar and the rebuilding of the north bar area.
Phases Two and Three will be completed as more funds become available.
All the work has been completed by Legion members with a lot of help from community members, along with professional contributions as well.
Several fundraising events have been planned with the first being a steak fry on Monday, October 15. See ad in this paper for more information. Also, the yearly Smoker is coming up and is a great opportunity to see the completed work and to see what is left to do.
Roscoe Legion Post 259 appreciates the support from the area as they do their mission to help Veterans.
