Catholic Daughters Lenten project seeks items for Haven Center

Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court St. Katharine Drexel #2516 has selected as its Lenten Branch project the Watertown Pregnancy Resource Center, Haven Center.

Haven Center is the newest, non-profit pregnancy medical facility, one of ten in South Dakota. Haven Center offers 100% free services to men and women facing an unplanned pregnancy. Services include lab-quality pregnancy and STI testing, ultrasound, confidential support, options counseling, and abortion pill reversal.

Clients have free access to material items like diapers, clothes and other necessities through an education-based system.

To those choosing to continue their pregnancy, Haven Center offers compassion and non-judgmental support throughout the pregnancy and well into a child's life.

Current wish list supply items for kitchen, bathroom, reception and office areas are hanging on the Lenten Branches at the church entrances of Saint Augustine in Bowdle, and Saint Thomas the Apostle in Roscoe. Purchased items are to be put into the Lenten Branch collection boxes now through Easter.
