If you happened to drive north past our house on 4th Street you would see a red, blue and white windsock. It is not exactly a U.S. flag pattern. The crossed pattern is Tena’s way of celebrating May 17 with the Norwegian flag. Syttende Mai (May 17) is independence day there. We left it hanging, flapping in the constant wind....
