James (Jimmy) Peter Geditz died peacefully, at Avera Mother Joseph Manor, on July 5, 2018 in Aberdeen, SD, at the age of 86.

The Mass of Christian Burial was Monday, July 9 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Ipswich. Father Russell Homic served as Celebrant of the Mass.

Jimmy was born on July 28, 1931 in Harmony Township – Edmunds County, to Peter and Josephine (Sindelar) Geditz. He graduated from Ipswich High School in 1949.
