Ipswich boys busy last week

Will Kadlec heads down the basketball court in Ipswich.

The Ipswich boys had a busy prep basketball schedule last week, resulting in a 1-2 record in their trio of games.

Their 60-52 win indeed came on Saturday, Jan. 19 at James Valley Christian in Huron. Ipswich led throughout and its largest lead during the game was 16 points early in the third quarter. The Tigers had opened with a 21-17 first-quarter edge and they led 36-26 at intermission. It was then 47-38 with a quarter to play.

The Tigers (and all scorers) were led by Ipswich's Ty Kadlec with 21 points, including five treys. Next was Will Kadlec with 10 points and a leading seven assists....
