Ipswich split a pair of girls’ high school basketball road trips last week.

The Lady Tigers dropped a 60-46 outcome to Lake Region Conference rival Faulkton last Thursday in Faulkton. But they regrouped for a 61-43 win over James Valley Christian on Saturday in Huron. In that one, Ipswich jumped out to a 14-9 first-quarter lead and then led 24-19 at intermission. Ipswich enjoyed a 21-16 third-quarter scoring edge to lead 45-35 with a quarter to play.
