Ipswich won three recent girls' high school basketball outings last week, capped by a 58-52 overtime victory over Waverly-South Shore during the Warner Classic last Saturday in Warner. The Lady Tigers had topped Sully Buttes in Onida by a 46-29 verdict a night earlier and had outlasted Waubay/Summit 49-41 in Ipswich last Tuesday.
Now back to that stunning OT victory on Saturday! The W-SS Coyotes had netted an and-one layup plus foul shot for a 48-45 lead late in the contest.
But Ipswich closed to within two points on a Kamryn Heinz free throw. Both teams then missed some scoring opportunities,...
