IHS Coach to be honored by Aberdeen Central

Todd Thorson, Ipswich track and field and cross country coach, has been selected as one of the 10 Aberdeen Central graduates who will be inducted into the 2019 Aberdeen Central Hall of Fame.
He is a member of the Class of 1989 and will be recognized in their Athletics category. He has led the Ipswich girls and boys cross-country and track and field programs to several state championships and is a nationally-recognized water skier, who founded and still directs the equally successful Aberdeen Aqua Addicts water ski team.
The 10 inductees will be formally recognized during a September 28 hall of fame banquet in conjunction with Aberdeen Central's homecoming activities. And tickets for the event will go on sale sometime this summer.
