Explore the universe at the library this summer

 


You are invited to the 2019 Summer Reading Program “A Universe of Stories” at the Marcus P. Beebe Memorial Library of Ipswich! Children ages 4-12 can participate in a variety of programs this summer.

Registration starts May 15. Registration can be emailed to [email protected] or text Deb Gillick at 605-216-2958. Information needed: parents name and phone number, child’s name and age.

This summer children will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. The youth will train like an astronaut, explore with NASA, visit aliens and play space games.

All participants will be invited to the final party for awards and certificates.

All library programs are free and available to children of all abilities. The Ipswich Library’s summer calendar begins with two programs on Wednesday, June 5. The Watertown Bramble Park Zoo will present a program at 1 p.m. in the Bandshell.
