IHS golfers earn trip to State Meet

The Region 5B high school golf tournament was held on Monday, May 20 at Broadland Creek Golf Course in Huron. The Tiger boys were the runner-up regional champs with an aggregate 278, second only to Potter County's 266, among 11 teams eligible for the team standings. Selby Area claimed third at 289.
Individually, Ipswich's Luke Peterson placed first with a score of 84, Ethan Gilbert was fifth with a score of 90, Chet Peterson was 14th with a score of 104 and Matthew Jaenisch was 16th with a score of 106.
