Fiddlin' Around

Our weather certainly suggests that there could be climate change at work, because the daily weather conditions seem to be going from one extreme to the other lately.

Take this past weekend and even into Tuesday for example. One day we're experiencing blowing dust because it had been getting quite hot and dry. Especially for this early into June. But then we get copious amounts of blowing rain (and in some area’s hail). That all started on Sunday evening and continued overnight into Monday a.m. And then overnight Monday into Tuesday a.m. we get general rain showers more reminiscent of spring or fall.

Our poor overworked sump pump doesn't like all that precip, but seems to keep the floor dry for the time being anyway. And it will probably gradually warm up over the next several days into the weekend, according to the forecasts. But the weekend's Trail Days are ironically canceled due of course to the coronavirus. Oh well, sometimes you just can't win!
