Patricia passed away Monday November 23, 2020 at Avantara of Ipswich.

Patricia was born in Aberdeen to Andrew and Agnes (Schwab) Kraft on January 8, 1946. She was raised near Ipswich and graduated from Ipswich High School.

She continued to live in Ipswich while working as a Certified Nursing Assistant while raising her family.

In June of 1990 she married John Sonstegard.  They made their home in Ipswich for a short time and then moved to Sitka, Alaska. Upon their return to Ipswich, she worked at Bethesda Home in Aberdeen as a CNA and as a cook, retiring after 13 years.  Her care for people didn't stop at retirement and she would assist at the nursing home in Ipswich for several more years.

Pat was a kind, quiet soul who cared deeply for others.  She loved the peacefulness of camping and fishing and liked baking, reading, gardening and beautiful flowers.  She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Ipswich and a past member of the Elks and Moose Clubs.

Thankful for having shared in her life are her husband, John of Ipswich; daughter, Tammie Barnes of Aberdeen; sons, Tom (Marie) Gross of Fairfield, Calif., Tim (Melissa) Gross of Dickinson, N.D. and Troy (Natasha) Gross of Lawton, Okla .; sisters, Marie Glaser of Aberdeen, Theresa Gross of Ipswich and Delores Salwei of Ipswich; brothers, Eugene (Linda) Kraft of Aberdeen and Steve Kraft of Oklahoma City, Okla .; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
