It is getting to be that time of the year for the fall sports seasons and believe it or not the post-season events are right around the corner. And that can mean less than desirable weather, but who knows about this year's weather, summer has definitely decided to return for now at least.

The sports schedules will sometimes include a Monday event during the regular season and we most likely will hold these until the following week's editions due to time and space deadlines. And that keeps our printers happy, as well.

This Monday was one of those occasions where there were both girls volleyball on Monday in Roscoe and also a highly competitive cross country meet in Miller. Oh well, as they say time flies when you're having fun or maybe it is the other way around!
