Wrestlers travel to Plankinton for MVPCS tourney

The Ipswich/Bowdle wrestlers competed in the Mount Vernon/ Plankinton/Corsica-Stickney (MVPCS) Titans Invitational in Plankinton on Dec. 18.
Eighteen teams participated in the tourney, with Redfield Area winning the event with 263 points. Ipswich/Bowdle placed 11th.
"Our athletes had a lot of good matches against some high quality opponents," said coach Todd Naasz. "Some of the best teams in the state were there and the guys rose to the occasion."
Tanner Frickson placed third. Grant Weisser had a fifth place finish. Justin Rohrbach placed sixth.
