Ipswich was not able to quite stay with the Herreid/ Selby girls last Friday in Selby, resulting in a 51-23 Tiger defeat.

But the first quarter was definitely close with the hosts owning a 12-11 lead at that juncture of the contest. They would however manufacture a 29-14 halftime lead, still leaving Ipswich within striking distance.
