Ipswich/Bowdle scored nine team points in the State B Wrestling standings in Sioux Falls last weekend.

The Tigers were led by Tanner Frickson, a sixth place finisher and Brady Unser also scored a point. Kadyn Weisser also wrestled for I/B there but did not place.

So the post-season is now well underway even with those initial girls basketball region results delayed by the storm last week. And we’ll hope any nasty weather holds off.

There were probably an upset or two in the girls’ regional tourneys.

This week the boys region is underway. And the girls’ SoDak 16 is Thursday. Ipswich will host one game at 6:30 p.m., top-seeded Aberdeen Roncalli vs. Bison.
