Last week we mentioned there were two Aberdeen area events this past weekend — the South Dakota Film Festival in Aberdeen and the Northeast S.D. Celtic Faire at Richmond Lake.
Being near 100% Scotch/ Irish I voted for the latter and a wise choice it turned out to be. They had door prizes both days and the grand door prize was a guitar signed by the members of the Steel City Rovers band from Canada. Guess who won. You guested it — ME! Correct. And what was amazing was that they first announced a possible winning ticket who didn’t claim it. So they called the number on our ticket and there we were.
The guitar needs a little work, but that can be done easily.
