Fiddlin' Around

December 7, 2022

The weather was mild last Sunday for this time of the year, allowing a huge turnout at an Aberdeen Holiday Concert at the Johnson Fine Arts Center. The Medora N.D. summer musical cast were the performers. And they had been in Ipswich with their Christmas show a few years ago then at the Johnson Fine Arts Center three years ago, despite a massive blizzard in the area.

And this year the concert featured the Waddington Brothers bluegrass band touring with the Medora group. They were indeed four brothers from southwestern North Dakota.

The brothers had appeared at the annual Black Hills Bluegrass event in the Rapid City area back in June so they are no strangers to our state. I also wouldn't be surprised if they have been in Sturgis one time or another. So who knows you may very well catch these guys in a concert some time somewhere in 2023 and maybe even the rest of this year.
