Brady Unser in wrestling action in Gettysburg on Saturday at the Battler Invitational.

The Ipswich/Bowdle wrestlers competed in Gettysburg on Saturday, Jan. 14 at the Battler Invitational.

The I/B wrestlers were 11th with 65.5 points. South Border, N.D. was first with 254.5 points. There were 25 teams competing.

I/B wrestlers Brady Unser and Lucas Rowland placed second in their divisions.

The I/B results were:

120 - Brady Unser received a bye, won by fall (0:49), won by fall (1:04), lst by fall (5:23) (22 team points)

138 - Gunnar Knittel lost by fall (2:24), lost by fall (3:36)

182 - Justin Rohrbach lost by fall 1:48), received a bye, won by fall (1:56), lost by decision (5-0) (4 team points)

195 - Grant Weisser won by fall (1:59), lost by fall (1:11), won by tech fall (16-1), won by fall (1:58), won by decision (10-8), lost by fall (0:58) for fourth place (17.5 team points)

285 - Lucas Rowland received a bye, won by fall (0:39), won by fall (5:34), lost by decision (4-3) for second place (22 team points)

The I/B Tigers were scheduled to wrestle in the Mobridge-Pollock Round Robin on Tuesday, Jan. 17.
