Fiddlin' Around

April 26, 2023

You could probably put away your snow shovels now but in this country you never know. Especially in the hilly areas to the east and west and north of us.

But south is pretty straight and level at least in our county. But old timers can recall that very infrequent blizzard in May or even early June.

We may still have a killing frost or two, but certainly hope not. That would take what apple tree blossoms would be left in our back yard, that the rabbits didn't destroy.

They say though that the next few weeks could still be rather chilly for this time of year and we certainly hope they are wrong!
