There is more high school sports to mention in this column again this week, even though the 2022-23 school year has ended.
You guessed correctly that I would congratulate the newly-crowned Ipswich boys track and field team that indeed tied with Gregory with 54 team points apiece. Things were that close all three days of the State B boys event.
Meanwhile the IHS girls would finish in eighth place exactly landing in the top eight. So they did OK as well.
And congratulations to the Edmunds Central and Ipswich boys golfers who will both be competing in their upcoming State B golf tourney in Watert...
