The Trail Days weekend offered a variety of events (except rain which we desperately needed). Even if you chose to participate in only one or two of them! Kudos to everybody on the Trail Days committee.
There looks like a few more area events which are being planned starting perhaps with Leola's annual Rhubarb Festival and Bowdle Tower Days, both set for June 23-25. And their schedule looks to be equally crowded featuring a parade and plenty of activities. If your kids didn't get enough candy in the Ipswich parade! And there are some food vendors as well. So maybe you could even find a piece of rhubarb pie or rhubarb kuchen. But I am not sure about that! And there's Saturday evening music! Maybe you can get your dancing shoes on.
There may be fireworks in Leola, a preview of the upcoming July 4 weekend.
But rain? We'll see about that!
