North Central to play JV games this football season

The Edmunds Central, Eureka and Bowdle School Boards voted to suspend varsity football play this fall for North Central athletes.

The decision was based on projected student participation numbers.

They plan to play a JV schedule this fall.

The EC facebook site says, “While we are disappointed that we will not be competing at the varsity level in the sport of football during the season, we are confident that this was the best decision for our student athletes and was made keeping in mind their best interests.
