Ipswich opened its 2023-24 girls varsity basketball campaign with a homecourt non-coference 65-30 loss to Sully Buttes last Tuesday, December 5.
Ipswich opened scoring with an and-one three-point play by Gabby Wald. But the Chargers would end up with a 14-5 first-quarter lead and then led 35-18 at intermission. Then trailing 37-18 early in the third quarter, Ipswich would get a baseline two-point basket by Kaylin Onken.
