Fiddlin' Around

December 20, 2023

This column has very often been about weather or sports and this year is no exception.

Games (and school) have pretty much allowed to be held thanks to the influence of a weather pattern of El Nino that has mostly produced mild and dry Pacific air instead of Arctic air that prevailed last winter.

And annual seasonal holiday related events have mostly been able to be held on schedule so far this year. And our local weather guy Marv Seyer has to be pleased about that.

This year we complain when the overnight weather temperature drops below 32 so we are getting spoiled. Obviously too spoiled and we could very likely pay sometime during 2024. If not before!

At any rate Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Last year the mailbags with the papers were delayed due to the weather and road conditions. Hopefully this week's newspaper will have a much easier trip to your hands.
