An Edmunds Central cast will perform in the Region 7B One-Act Play Competition on Wednesday, Jan. 17 in the Ipswich School Theatre. Edmunds Central performs at 1 p.m.
The genre of the play is Director's Choice. Director Sandra Beyers said, "Our play this year is based on the book Ten Days in a Madhouse by Nellie Bly. The play title is NELLIE, and tells the story of Nellie Bly, investigative journalist in 1887 who checked herself into Blackwell's Island Asylum for ten days."
