Thunder tracksters compete at NSU indoor meet

 


The North Central track and field team began their season with an indoor meet in the Barnett Center on the Northern State University campus on Tuesday, March 26.

Raynor Sprague placed second in the 400 Meters run at 55.49. He was also second in the Triple Jump with a 33’4 leap. Tyler Bluhm was also a runner-up in the High Jump with a 5’4 jump.

On the girls’ side – Lindsey Geier was third in the Triple Jump with a 31’5.75 jump.

Other Thunder athletes who placed in the meet were:

GIRLS

400 Meters: 6, Lindsey Hoerner, 1:09.39

1600 Meters: 7, Grace Roth, 7:10.56

55m Hurdles: 7, Kaidence Bulgin, 10:41

4x400 Relay: 7, NC-A (Ella Batie, Lindsey Hoerner, Kennadi Aman, Adalia Hall), 4:59.88

Pole Vault: 4, Peyton Schnabel, 7’6

Long Jump: 5, Lindsey Geier, 14’10

MENS

1600 Meters: 6, Gabe Johnson. 5:03.82

4x400 Relay: 5, NC-A (Aiden Goings, Keegan Miller, Kobe Wherry, Raynor Sprague), 4:05.15

High Jump: 8, Aiden Goings and Jade Jacobs, 4’10

Triple Jump: 8, Ignacio Dominguez, 30’0.75

The NC track and field team is scheduled to compete at the Ipswich Early Bird on Tuesday, April 9.
